Language programs for the summer - Open the door to opportunity

Learning a new language is the key to a world of opportunities for kids and teens. Not only will your child be exposed to a new language, with Berlitz summer programs, they will also discover new cultures. These discoveries will enable them to more easily understand and accept new cultures and ideas, as well as instill a curiosity for travel and new experiences.

Benefits of the summer programs

Enhance language skills: Our one-week programs are designed to help kids and teens develop their language skills in a fun, interactive setting. In order to achieve this goal, both the kids and the instructors use only the target language in class.
Help kids become more open to other cultures: Our diverse teaching staff is dedicated to providing your child with the support and guidance they need to discover similarities and differences between customs and attitudes in different cultures.
A real sense of community: It is important for us to encourage our young learners to discover the new language together with their peers and form real bonds with each other in the process.

Our summer programs, operating successfully since 2004, are available this year as well. Our language classes are taught by native and bilingual instructors in small groups of 4-7 children, divided by age and language abilities. Specially designed materials are used for each course to ensure effective learning while still having fun.

Available languages: English, German (on demand) and Hungarian (on demand).

The Berlitz method

Let us highlight for you some of the key features of our methodology, which has served students around the world effectively for 145 years.

Monolingual

Since we use only the target language in class, the children actually learn to speak the target language instead of learning to translate.

Natural

The children learn the foreign langauge as they acquired their mother tongue: through practical situations, through conversation and with lots of repetition. They also acquire the grammar as a natural part of the langauge.

Efficient

Every lesson follows the same scheme: the teacher introduces some new material, the students practice it during the class, and towards the end of the class they demonstrate how well they can use the newly acquired knowledge.

International

Our instructors come from different parts of the world, so the children can experience a truly international environment that will make them more open and receptive toward other cultures.

Courses will be held in June, July and August
Available for students aged 7-17
Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Location: Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Language Centre (1065 Budapest, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út 29.)
Each day consists of 4x45-minute lessons including breaks
